Randy Manis Honored with Annual Loberg Award

JONESBORO, Ark. – Randy Manis has been chosen as the winner of Hytrol’s 2022 Loberg Award. Manis received the award during Hytrol’s annual Loberg Day celebration.

The Loberg Award is the highest honor a Hytrol employee can receive and is given in memory of Hytrol’s late founder, Tom Loberg. It is given to an employee who exemplifies the values of faith, family, empathy, commitment, gratitude and community he established as part of the company’s culture.

Manis has worked at Hytrol since 1985. He has worked on the production floor in gravity and power assembly, serving as team leader. He has also worked as an order processor, customer care facilitator and is currently serving as Manager of Customer Care.

“Every day, Randy exemplifies the values Mr. Loberg instilled in us,” said President David Peacock. “He is the person I turn to when I need help with the workings of our conveyors. His dedication and appreciation for this company is demonstrated every day.”

“I’m truly humbled to be selected as the Loberg Award recipient,” said Manis. “I had the pleasure of being able to work with Tom and I do my best every day to treat our customers and my team with the same ambition and attitude as he did.”

Randy’s advice to new Hytrol employees is to build strong relationships.

“It is important to build relationships with those in the company and our customers. We need relationships to be successful, and those relationships should be treated with trust and respect,” said Manis.

Manis is the sixth winner of the Loberg Award. Fellow nominees include Boyce Bonham, David Joe Deaton and Thomas Rothe. Altogether the four nominees have contributed 134 years of service to Hytrol.

Previous Loberg Award recipients include Tony Sartin in 2017, Wayne McGill in 2018, Dan Holmes in 2019, Teressa Vinson in 2020 and Jeff Hall in 2021.
