Hytrol is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join its in-house marketing team. The position works closely with the team to provide a broad range of assistance and support to the department and company. It is imperative for the person who assumes this position to be able to balance creative and analytical efforts, taking initiative in both the design and execution of content marketing strategies. This position entails a significant amount of writing, and is expected to work with members of the marketing team to create emails, social media posts, press releases, videos, blogs, downloadable content, technical product support, website content, and more that aligns with the company goals.

As an expert in content strategy, this position includes the execution and/or maintenance of lead nurturing, workflows, contact lists, web integration, and reporting. Must be able to take initiative and work closely with a team, and be willing to take on other tasks as required.

Basic qualifications:

  • 4 years of college, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent
  • Experience with copywriting, copy editing, and content creation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing - P.R. - Communications preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with content management system software (HubSpot, WordPress, etc.)
  • A cursory knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with inbound marketing
  • Experience with social media brand pages (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and knowledge of best practices
  • A desire to learn and grow within the company

Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of CSS and HTML
  • Proficiency with AP Style
  • Experience with internal marketing
  • Experience with Google Analytics
