(Jonesboro, AR) February 15, 2013 — Hytrol Conveyor Co., Inc. announces Delos Fritz to the role of chief information officer. As CIO, Fritz will be responsible for information technology systems, telecommunications, customer configuration tools, and technology support for Hytrol's 700-person manufacturing operation.
Hytrol's President, Gregg Goodner, commented "Our information and technology systems play a vital role in the success of our organization. Fritz brings more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and IT operations to Hytrol. With this experience he will implement and sustain critical enhancements to our IT infrastructure, allowing Hytrol to continue to grow effectively."
Fritz recently served as a manufacturing leader and vice president of information technology for a 125 million dollar manufacturing company. During his tenure as vice president he led the company to record sales and generated record profit levels.
Fritz earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and finance from Augustana College and St. Olaf College. He also holds a mini-masters in computer science with a concentration in artificial intelligence, as well as an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. Ranked as a Staff Sergeant Fritz served in the US Marine Corps where he was on active duty for four years and a reservist for two years.
