New Hangar will serve Hytrol and Guests

Construction began recently on a new home for Hytrol’s Aviation department. This new hangar will be only a few yards from the Hytrol Technology Center and just down the street from Hytrol’s main plant. The building will have 15,000 sq. ft. of hangar space for aircraft and 3,000 sq. ft. of office and shop space.

The hangar will incorporate a number of special features designed to maintain the hangar environment during inclement weather. Special roof ventilation and the capacity for heating the hangar door tracks will help insure efficiency and keep Hytrol flights on schedule. Vertical skylights along the hangar walls will provide ample illumination during daylight hours and allow aircraft maintenance with no electrical lighting.

Construction is estimated to be completed sometime between mid-March and April 1st.
