Products are sometimes too wide to convey inside the conveyor "BR" (Between Rail) width. On most conveyors, this is not a problem since the rollers are above the channel and some overhang is okay. With Hytrol’s Chain Roller conveyors, however, the chain guard extends above the top of the rollers and prevents any overhang. On the Model 25-CRR, the chain guard extends 1-5/8 in. above the top of the rollers. This Model 25-CRR was designed with the chain guard in a "low profile." The rollers extend above the chain guard 1/16 in. This allows for product overhang.

Education & Training
Hytrol continues to offer a number of schools for distributors and conveyor maintenance personnel. Five sessions were conducted recently at Hytrol International Headquarters in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Conveyor School #142 and Maintenance Schools #43, 44, 45, and 46 were held here. 90 students were enrolled and graduated from the schools. Hytrol thanks each one who attended and we look forward to serving them in the future.

Hytrol Vision placed for all to see...
The Hytrol motto, "Hytrol Leads the Way" has been around for decades. Over the years, Hytrol has had a number of themes, such as "One of a Kind," "Nobody Does it Better," "Changing to Make a Difference," etc., conceived at convention or conference time. The Hytrol philosophy, "Design, Pricing, Availability, and Service" is also familiar to us all. Hytrol has conducted its business using these ideas and mottos and has enjoyed tremendous growth.

Every company has, or should have, a "vision." The business needs to know what principles and ideas it should work by to achieve success. Although Hytrol's progress is undeniable, there has never been a stated vision for the company until recently. In 1994, the "Hytrol Vision’ was unveiled as the focus of Hytrol’s future growth.

Simply stated, this Vision gives an overview of the principles Hytrol needs for continued growth, not only for its customer and distributor base, but for employee gratification as well.

The Vision makes five distinct statements:

  • CUSTOMER ORIENTED BUSINESS
Everything we do is focused on serving the customer both internally and externally.
  • PEOPLE DRIVEN BY COMMITMENT & OWNERSHIP
Employee involvement and decision making are spread throughout the organization to encourage ownership. We work hard to develop relationships and maintain our family oriented culture.
  • QUALITY AND SERVICE ARE OUR BENCHMARKS
Our quality, service and availability are recognized throughout the industry.
  • SPEED, SIMPLICITY & FLEXIBILITY A WAY OF LIFE
Reducing our cycle times, simplifying our work processes, and creating flexibility in our operations must be done on a daily basis.
  • PRODUCTIVITY & COST ARE UNTOUCHABLE
Improving productivity and reducing cost will give us a competitive advantage in the market place.

Now, with the placement of three large banners in the production area, anyone can see Hytrol’s Vision and understand how each point is interpreted. These banners will not only show visitors Hytrol’s focus but will serve as a reminder to employees as well.

A large banner, stating the Hytrol Vision has been placed in three prominent locations in the Production area. This banner is located in the breezeway between the Stockyard and the main plant.
